  • Zoom Event for Naples Grandparents

    Calling all grandparents living in the Naples, Florida area! Friday, February 6th, at 10:00 a.m., Carol will speak via Zoom at the “Connections, Conversation & Coffee” event sponsored by The Social Coach services. This will be an introduction to Sensory Processing Differences (SPD), with demonstrations of fun, functional activities that families can easily incorporate into everyday routines. You will deepen your understanding of "out-of-sync" children’s sensory needs and enjoy an engaging, interactive session designed for grandparents, parents, and caregivers alike.

    Class for art therapy students at Notre Dame College of Maryland on how to recognize sensory processing differences (SPD) in their clients, how to treat their "out-of-sync" clients with understanding, and how to offer art experiences with "just-right" sensory challenges.
